How to become a volunteer:

Step 1: Sign up to receive PTO Communications by creating a login on this website and adding your family information to the Directory (you can choose to have your information not be published)

Step 2: Update volunteer preferences

Step 3: Register with VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) in order to volunteer with HISD.

Help with Morning Security Lines - New Volunteer Opportunity!

For the first two weeks of school, we need parent/caregiver volunteers to assist students as they go through the security line in the morning. To expedite the security line, volunteers will prompt students to remove metal water bottles, Chromebooks, etc... from their backpacks. This help will ensure our students get to class in a timely manner while learning our security systems. Please click the below link to review the available slots and click on the button to sign up.
